Know when to move, where to go, and whether the grass will last
The grazing planner built on a working Georgia farm. One tap logs a move; the app plans the rest.
iPhone and iPad, iOS 17 or later. Works offline. Cattle, bison, sheep, goats, pigs and poultry.
Sound familiar?
“Where do they go next?”
Solved: the app picks the best-rested paddock and dates every move, weeks ahead.
“Will the hay last till spring?”
Solved: see in the fall how many bales winter takes and how many you’re short, while there’s time to buy.
“Some paddocks never come back.”
Solved: spot weak ground and fix it with longer rest, a soil test and overseeding at the right time.
“My records are everywhere.”
Solved: moves, animals, health, soil and field notes in one place, on your phone, even offline.
Up and running in an evening
Add your farm
Your paddocks and herds, or import them from a spreadsheet or your QGIS map.
Log moves in the field
One tap when the herd moves. Siri and the widget work too.
Follow the plan
Next move, rest, hay, breeding and seeding dates, all worked out for you.

Every move on time
Each herd gets a plan: how long to stay and which paddock is next.
- A reminder before each move to set up the next paddock
- Rest counts only growing days, so winter never fools the plan
- Pigs go next door when the ground is rested, not across an open field

Ground that gets better every year
See which paddocks are ready, and which need help.
- Your paddocks on a map, over your own drone photo if you fly one
- Soil tests read straight from the lab’s report, with a reminder to test again
- Which ground to overseed, with seeding rates and timing from UGA Extension

No surprise feed bills
Know what winter, feed and next year will take before they arrive.
- One Feed screen for every herd’s hay, feed and supplements, counted in one walk through the barn
- Hay needed for winter, feed days left, a reorder date, and whether the next order fits your empty drums
- Minerals and supplements by the scoop, with cost per head and a reminder to check the feeder
- How much more forage the herd needs while the cows are nursing

Know what every pig costs
From the day you buy it to butcher day, in dollars instead of guesses.
- Every feed order is a lot with its real cost per pound, shipping and tax included
- Orders on the way count toward your run-out date; mark them arrived and note how they’re stored
- Feed eaten month by month against your ration, so waste or hungry pigs show up early
- Each pig’s purchase price, the feed it ate and what it will eat to butcher day
- A seasonal ration with reminders to switch, and extra for sows nursing a litter

Breeding and health, handled
Optional animal records that pay their way.
- Calve when the grass comes in: bull in and out, preg check and weaning, all dated
- Fecal egg counts that show whether the dewormer actually worked
- Weights, daily gain and meat withdrawal dates

Herd health on schedule
Vaccines, wormers and fly control on time, without a wall calendar.
- Start from extension-service schedules for cattle, pigs, sheep and goats, or enter your vet’s own steps
- Shots timed to your breeding, calving and weaning dates, with boosters and reminders
- Enter the label dose once; each animal’s dose is worked out from its weight
- Work day at the chute: animal by animal, every product recorded in one pass
- What health costs per head, and a warning when one wormer class is used too often
A spreadsheet records. This app plans.
| Spreadsheet | This app | |
|---|---|---|

| Where to go next | Worked out by hand | Suggested and dated |
| Hay for winter | A guess | Bales needed and how many you’re short |
| Weak paddocks | Hard to see | Flagged, with what to do and when |
| Reminders | None | Moves, shots and wormers, retests, breeding jobs and feed orders |

Head means cattle, bison, sheep, goats and pigs. Poultry and young born in the last 12 months don’t count. Every paid plan starts with a 30-day free trial, and your records are always yours to export. Prices are in US dollars and may change before launch.
The beta is unrestricted. While the app is in beta, every tester gets every feature of every plan, sharing included, at no cost and with no limits on herds or animals.
Built on our own farm
I’m Mike Kummer. We raise South Poll cattle, Idaho Pasture Pigs and a flock of hens, guineas, ducks and turkeys in Chattooga County, Georgia.
A spreadsheet couldn’t tell me when to move or whether the hay would last, so I built the app I wanted. The rest and parasite guidance comes from university extension services, and every number can be changed.
Questions
Does it fit my farm?
Cattle, bison, sheep, goats, pigs and poultry; lanes behind a moving fence, fixed paddocks, or both; one herd or several. Use the parts that fit and skip the rest.
Do I need internet in the field?
No. Everything works offline and syncs through iCloud when you’re back in range.
Can I bring my old records?
Yes. Import your grazing log, paddocks, animals, weights and treatments from a spreadsheet, and paddock outlines from QGIS or QField.
What does it cost?
The beta is free, and beta testers get a free license at launch. After that there’s a Free plan for small homesteads, and paid plans with a 30-day free trial (see Plans).
How do I find everything it can do?
Pull down on the Overview and tap the search box: before you type, it lists everything the app can do for your farm, grouped by job. Or see everything Grazing can do. Now and then This week also suggests a feature your own records say would help.
Where are my records kept?
On your iPhone and in your own iCloud account. We don’t keep a copy of your farm on our servers.
What if I get a new phone?
Sign in with the same Apple Account and iCloud brings your farm back. You can also make a backup file any time (Settings, Back up and restore), and the app keeps a daily one on your phone.
Can I get my records out?
Yes, any time: export to a spreadsheet (CSV) on every plan, or an Excel workbook with Pro. Your records are yours.
Is it on Android?
Not yet. It’s iPhone and iPad for now.
Try it free on your own ground
I’m looking for graziers to test the beta and tell me what’s missing. Open the link on your iPhone or iPad and you’re in.
